Hello! Thank you for your interest in who we are at Escape the Bored Gaming Café. Escape the Bored is my attempt at bringing family-friendly, affordable entertainment to the small town of Blackfoot, Idaho. My name is Connor Slagowski and I grew up in this small town and remember there being little, to nothing, in town when it comes to entertainment and a good portion of the options we used to have have closed in recent years leaving the pool of options very shallow. Unless you are over the age of 21 and interested in the bar scene there is not much for anyone to enjoy other than a movie theatre that only offers a couple hours of entertainment at a time. Escape the Bored is an attempt to allow families, and primarily our youth, to have a place that you can afford to go spend time with friends and family that is outside of the home, away from the elements, and safe.

This is the kind of place that I, and so many others, wish existed when we were in school. We are still VERY new and growing to our ultimate goal of having escape rooms and omnidirectional VR treadmills is still a ways off but we are determined to create a place where you and the community can come together. Escape the Bored, to us, is more than a business, it is much bigger than that. Although we are brand new, Escape the Bored is a community of people that enjoys spending time unplugged with friends, family, and other members of the greater Blackfoot community.
